Storm of Space

Prologue-
Somewhere deep in space, a Dimensional Hole opened up. A large, pink and white Pokémon with a pearl on its shoulder came out of it. One of its pearls was cracked. "GAWWWOOAARR!" it roared as it flew off toward earth. At the same time, a large blue and silver Pokémon with a diamond on its chest looked out over the land from atop its tower. Suddenly, the diamond on its chest glowed. "GRRRAAAWWWOOAARR!" it howled. It flew off into the sky. The blue Pokémon came down on a dark, floating island. "PALKIA!" the blue Pokémon growled, "COME OUT!" The white and pink Pokémon flew down. "DIALGA!" it yowled. "HOW DARE YOU INFILTRATE MY DOMAIN?" "WHY HAVE YOU COME, PALKIA?" Dialga asked, "YOU ARE DESTINED TO STAY IN SPACE!" "GRAWWWWARR!" Palkia growled. "I ONLY CAME HERE TO MEND THE HOLE IN THE FABRIC OF SPACE! SOMETHING IS CAUSING THIS CRISIS!" "PALKIA," Dialga said, "I WILL NEVER BELIEVE A FOOL SUCH AS YOURSELF! YOU CAME HERE TO CHALLENGE ME!" Dialga charged up an energy blast. "ROAR OF TIME!" it fired its attack at Palkia. "GRRRAAWWRR!" Palkia screeched. "I AM TELLING THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH!" "I WILL NOT STAND TO BELIEVE YOU, PALKIA!" Dialga roared. "WHY CAN YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?" Palkia shrieked. It charged up an attack. "SPACIAL REND!" Palkia sent a blast of spatial power at Dialga. "IT IS TRUE THEN," Dialga yelled, "YOU HAVE COME TO CHALLENGE ME! PALKIA, YOU WILL REGRET THIS!"

Chapter 1-  
Stormstar twisted and turned in her sleep. She was a sand colored Pikachu with a white star-shaped mark on her head. Stormstar's color was altered by time-traveling. Her friends' colors were also altered in the same way. Stormstar twisted again. In her dream, she saw two Pokémon fighting. One was blue and silver with a diamond on its chest, and the other was white and pink with a pearl on its shoulder. "Dialga!" Stormstar whispered. She knew Dialga quite well. At one time, it had been mean to her and her friends, but it once had saved them from Mewtwo, a horrible Pokémon. Stormstar did not recognize the other Pokémon. But then she remembered where she had seen it. The Pokémon's picture had been on the wall in the Old Ruins. Stormstar had gone there on the way to Temporal Tower. The white and pink Pokémon was Palkia! Suddenly, the two stopped fighting. "DIALGA, STOP!" Palkia shouted. "IT IS HERE!" "PALKIA," Dialga said, "DO NOT TRY TO FOOL ME WITH YOUR LIES!" Palkia was not paying attention to what Dialga was saying. It turned around. "YOU!" it yelled, pointing at Stormstar. "YOU ARE THE ONE RIPPING A HOLE IN THE FABRIC OF SPACE!" "What?" Stormstar cried, "What in the world does that even mean?" "YOUR PRESENCE IN THIS WORLD IS CAUSING THE DESTRUCTION OF THE FABRIC OF SPACE!" Palkia shouted. Stormstar turned and ran. She could still hear Palkia screeching. She turned her head while she was still running. Palkia wasn't following. Suddenly, she fell. Stormstar had run over a cliff and was plummeting over the side. "Ahhhhh!" she screamed.

Chapter 2-
"Stormstar," someone said, shaking Stormstar's shoulder. "Stormstar, wake up!" Stormstar opened her eyes. Her friend, River, a sky-colored Piplup with a white, moon-shaped mark on her head was staring down at her. Stormstar had fallen out of her tree. "Are you okay, Stormstar?" River asked. "I don't know." Stormstar said. "I had a horrible nightmare. Dialga and Palkia were fighting. I tried to run away, but fell over a cliff." Stormstar didn't include the part about the fabric of space. She knew River wouldn't know anything about it. "Do you think this means anything?" "I have no idea," said River, "We should ask Silver and Gallade." "Okay," said Stormstar, "You go ask Silver, and I'll ask Gallade." River nodded and went off to talk to Silver. He was a white-colored Aron. Stormstar walked over to Gallade's tree. "Hey Gallade," she called, "Are you awake? I need to ask you something." Gallade's face appeared in the tree branches. "Sure," he said. Gallade jumped down from the tree. Stormstar told him about her dream. This time, she included the part about the fabric of space. "I'm not sure if your dream means much of anything. If I could tell you more, I would." Gallade said. "I just don't know... But I do know of the place you mentioned." "You do?" Stormstar said. "Yes," said Gallade, "It's called Spacial Rift. I don't know where it is though."  "Thanks anyway, Gallade." Stormstar said. She went to find River. "What did Silver say?" "Not much," River answered. "What about Gallade?" "He didn't know." The sun was high in the sky now. "I have an idea though," "What?" River said. "Lapras," Stormstar said. "How could Lapras help?" "Lapras might know something about this. She's been to a lot of places." "Okay," River agreed. They went and got Gallade and Silver and headed off to the beach. As usual, Lapras was at the edge of the water. "Lapras," Stormstar called. "Hello Stormstar," Lapras said, "I always knew our paths would cross again." "Lapras, we need your help." River said. "Do you know of a place called Spacial Rift?" "Yes," Lapras answered, "I do," "Do you know where it is?" Gallade said. "I know it is far in the east," said Lapras, "But it is hidden somehow. I cannot take you there. One must be able to travel through space and time." "Well, thank you Lapras." Stormstar said.

Chapter 2-
That night, Stormstar had another dream. This time, it seemed too real. Palkia and Dialga were still fighting. Palkia opened up a Dimensional Hole and stepped through it. The hole led to Stormstar's home. Stormstar's eyes shot open. She looked around. Everything appeared normal. Suddenly a Dimensional Hole opened up and Palkia came out of it. Stormstar's dream was real! "GWARRRROOAARR!" it screeched. It struck the ground and opened another Dimensional Hole under Stormstar and her friend's homes. "Ahhhh!" Stormstar yelled. Gallade, River, and Silver woke up and saw what was happening. But it was too late to do anything. Stormstar and her friends were already being pulled into the void. Palkia flew back to Spacial Rift. Stormstar, Gallade, River, and Silver dropped through the Dimensional Hole. Palkia was standing before them. "Where are we?" Stormstar demanded. "YOU ARE IN MY DOMAIN!" Palkia yelled, "SPACIAL RIFT!" "Why are we here?" River asked. "ONE AMONG YOU IS TEARING A HOLE IN THE FABRIC OF SPACE!" Palkia pointed at Stormstar. "THAT ONE! IT MUST BE DESTROYED!" Stormstar looked up at Palkia. She noticed that the pearl in its shoulder was cracked. Palkia moved toward Stormstar. Suddenly, Dialga flew down. "PALKIA!" it hissed. "DIALGA!"  Palkia said. "DO NOT WASTE MY TIME! I NEED TO DEFEAT THE CRISIS WHO IS RUINING SPACE!" While Dialga and Palkia were arguing, Stormstar quietly turned around with River, Gallade, and Silver following. They all snuck out of the cave. "What was that all about?" Silver asked. "I don't know," Stormstar said. "What are we supposed to do about this?" River said. "I don't know that either," said Stormstar, "But I did see something interesting. Did any of you notice anything about Palkia?" "Besides the fact that it may have gone crazy," Silver said, "not really," "One of its pearls was cracked." Stormstar said. "That might be what is leading it on this rampage." Gallade said. "But what are we supposed to do about it?" "Well," said Stormstar, "If Palkia's pearl was broken in the past, then maybe we have to change the past to save the future." "What?" Silver cried, "Time-traveling? Only Dialga can do that. You know, it changed our colors." Stormstar rolled her eyes. "Yes time-travel. I can do it." She explained how she needed to time-travel in order to get a magic scroll for Dialga. It required that scroll to summon Arceus, the strongest Pokémon. "You remember the rest of the story, right?" "Yeah," Silver said, "Darkrai was controlling Dialga. It went to control Arceus. You got Cresselia to come and the sun defeated Darkrai. Blah, blah, blah." "Yes," Stormstar said, "I think we should go back in time and fix Palkia's pearl." "Good idea," River said. "Now, everyone gather around me," Stormstar instructed. River, Silver, and Gallade circled around Stormstar. "Okay, let's do this!" Stormstar clasped her paws together. A blue light enveloped her and the star on her forehead glowed. Stormstar, Gallade, River, and Silver disappeared. They were traveling back to the past.

Chapter 3-
Stormstar and her friends arrived in the past. They were at Temporal Tower. "Whoa!" Silver said. "Temporal Tower! I guess this is before we went and fixed it." "No dip Sherlock," River said. "Of course it's before we came! This is the past!" "Why'd you take us here, Stormstar?" Gallade asked. "I think this is where Dialga and Palkia battled. And if my hunch is correct, it was Dialga who broke Palkia's pearl. That is why it is trying so hard to get rid of Palkia once and for all. It just wants to protect itself." "Yeah," River agreed, "It probably doesn't want its diamond to get cracked like Palkia's pearl." All of a sudden, a Dimensional Hole opened, and Dialga came out. Stormstar, River, Silver, and Gallade hid behind some pillars, to not be seen by it.  "GRRAAWWAARR!" Dialga growled. Another Dimensional Hole Opened up. Palkia came out of it. Stormstar couldn't see if its pearl was cracked. "WHY HAVE YOU RETURNED, PALKIA?" Dialga shouted. "I HAVE ALREADY FORCED YOU OUT ONCE!" "DAILGA," Palkia yelled, "SOMETHING IS DISTORTING SPACE! I AM BEGINNING TO THINK THAT YOU MIGHT BE CAUSING THIS! YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE ENOUGH DAMAGE!" Palkia turned around. Stormstar could see it now. Palkia's pearl had already been broken! "We have to travel farther back in time!" she whispered. "Palkia's pearl has already cracked!"  Stormstar clasped her paws together and the star on her forehead glowed. She disappeared, along with her friends. They were going farther into the past. When the four Pokémon arrived, Stormstar looked around. They were in Spacial Rift. "Spacial Rift?" Silver said, "Did you take us to the present, Stormstar?" "No," Stormstar answered. "This is the past. Look," Two Dimensional Holes opened on opposite sides of the room. Palkia and Dialga came out of them. "PALKIA!" Dialga yelled, "IT'S TIME TO SETTLE THIS, ONCE AND FOR ALL!" The two Pokémon flew up into the dark sky. "ROAR OF TIME!" Dialga shouted, sending a bright blast of energy at Palkia. "SPACIAL REND!" Palkia yelled. It sent a blast of spatial energy at Dialga. "GRRAWWWARROOAR!" Dialga growled. It leaped on top of Palkia. The two rolled around, fighting each other. Finally, Dialga got on top. It hit Palkia's pearl with its claws, breaking it. Time seemed to stop. Everything turned dark. Palkia was rumbling. "GRRRWWWAAAOOARRR!" It yelled. Palkia rushed at Dialga. It slammed into it. "No! We're too late!" Stormstar said.  

Chapter 4-
"Wait, Stormstar," Gallade said, "It's not too late!" "It isn't?" Stormstar answered. "No," said Gallade, "We can just go back to the past and try this again. Then we can stop Palkia and Dialga from fighting!" "Thanks, Gallade." Stormstar said. She turned to River and Silver. "You guys ready to go?" "Yeah," Silver and River said. Stormstar put her paws together. The star on her forehead glowed. The four Pokémon disappeared. Palkia and Dialga started re-winding. Soon, they were gone. Stormstar reappeared. "Ok," she said, "This time, we get it right!"  The two Dimensional Holes opened and Dialga and Palkia emerged. "PALKIA!" Dialga yelled, once again, "IT'S TIME TO SETTLE THIS, ONCE AND FOR ALL!" Stormstar ran out before Palkia and Dialga could fly up into the air. "You have to stop!" she shouted. "WHY SHOULD WE?"  Palkia yelled. "OUR RIVALRY MUST BE SETTLED IN BATTLE!" Dialga finished. "No!" Stormstar said, "Fighting is not the answer!" Palkia stepped back. "FINE," it said, "YOU'VE CONVINCED ME. BUT THIS IS NOT OVER!" It flew up into the night sky. "YOU'VE WON THIS ROUND, BUT I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!" It soared up into the air. Stormstar turned back to her friends. "Well, I guess that's over." she said. "Let's go back." Gallade, River, and Silver gathered around her. Stormstar clasped her paws together. The star on her forehead glowed and she disappeared. They were traveling back to the present. The four Pokémon arrived at Spacial Rift. Palkia and Dialga were still fighting. "Why are they still fighting?" Stormstar said. "I thought we solved Palkia and Dialga's problem!" "I don't know what happened." Gallade said. "That's what I thought too." Suddenly, Palkia turned around, and Stormstar could see it better. Its pearl was still cracked! Palkia started coming closer. "IT IS BACK!" it yelled. "THE DISASTER THAT IS DESTROYING THE FABRIC OF SPACE!" "Ahhhh!" Stormstar yelled as Palkia came closer. She jumped out of the way when it tried to grab her. "Ahhh!" Stormstar shouted. "Quit it!" "GGGGRRRRRRAAAAWWRR!" Palkia growled. It lunged out at just the right moment and grabbed Stormstar in its claws. Gallade gasped. "Put her down!" "NO!" Palkia yelled. "I MUST DESTROY THE ONE THAT IS TEARING A HOLE IN THE FABRIC OF SPACE!" "That'll be the last thing you'll ever do." Gallade said. "GRRRRR…" Palkia growled. Its claws tightened around Stormstar. She suddenly gasped and fell limp in Palkia's claws. "No!" Gallade screamed.  "You… you… you… killed Stormstar!"

Chapter 5-
"OF COURSE I DID, YOU FOOL!" Palkia yelled at Gallade. "HOW ELSE WAS I SUPPOSED TO GET RID OF THE ONE WHO IS CAUSING THE DISTRUCTION OF THE FABRIC OF SPACE?" "Palkia!" Gallade said, "It wasn't Stormstar who was ripping a hole in the fabric of space." Palkia turned around. "THAT'S PERPOSTEROUS." it said. "IF IT'S NOT CAUSING THIS CRSIS, THEN WHO IS?" "Palkia," Gallade said again, "I believe that it's you who's causing the destruction of space." "WHAT?" Palkia roared. "THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE! I CONTROL SPACE! I WILL NOT STAND TO BELIEVE YOU!" "Palkia, you have to believe me!" said Gallade. "Your pearl is cracked! That's what distorting space!" Palkia turned to face Dialga. "IT IS YOUR FAULT THEN! IT IS YOUR FAULT THAT THE FABRIC OF SPACE IS BROKEN!" Palkia rushed at Dialga, throwing Stormstar to the side of the room. She slammed into the wall, still not moving. While Palkia and Dialga were fighting, Gallade, River, and Silver ran over to Stormstar. "There has to be some hope." Gallade said. He picked up Stormstar. She still didn't move. "Stormstar," said Gallade. "No! You have to be alive!" "Stormstar can't be gone, can she?" River said. "It's just not possible!" Gallade wasn't listening. "Stormstar, I love you!" he said, "Come back to me!" Stormstar wasn't moving. Suddenly, there was a crack. Gallade turned his head. Palkia and Dialga were fighting. They rolled around until Dialga was on top. Gallade had seen this before. "No!" he said, "Not again!" But it was too late. Dialga reared up and punched Palkia's already broken pearl. It stepped back. Palkia was rumbling again. It forgot all that had happened. "I MUST DESTROY CRISIS THAT IS RUINING SPACE!" It looked around and saw Stormstar who was lying in the corner. It started to move closer. "You can't!" Gallade yelled, moving in front of Stormstar. "Don't touch her!" "FINE," Palkia said, "I'LL TAKE YOU DOWN FIRST." River and Silver came up behind Gallade. "We got your back." Silver said. "Bubblebeam!" River cried as she squirted a stream of bubbles at Palkia. It kept coming. "Metal Burst!" Silver yelled when he blasted an explosion of metal energy towards Palkia. But it still kept coming. "Focus Blast!" Gallade shouted as he attacked. "YOU CALL THOSE ATTACKS?" Palkia said, "NOW THIS IS AN ATTACK!" Palkia stomped its foot on the ground. "DRACO METEOR!" Rocks fell from the ceiling. They started getting surrounded in a fiery energy. "No!" Gallade said, "This is one of Palkia's strongest attacks! We're done for!" Suddenly, when all hope was lost, a Thunderbolt came out of nowhere and hit Palkia. Heads turned around. And Gallade yelled: "Stormstar!"

Chapter 6-
Stormstar had hit Palkia. It fell over. "Stormstar!" Gallade yelled again as he ran toward her. River and Silver followed him. "You're alive, Stormstar!" River cried. "Well, duh." Stormstar said. "Of course I am!" "But… you…" Silver stuttered, "And Palkia… and you… and… it's… it's... just impossible!" "Silver," Stormstar said, "I was just playing it up." "What?" Silver, River, and Gallade said at once. "Yeah, I was playing it up." Stormstar explained. "I needed Palkia to drop me. Then I could have helped you take it down." "Then how come you didn't wake up when Palkia did put you down?" Gallade asked. "I wasn't sure if it was the right time for me to attack Palkia." Stormstar answered. All of a sudden, the ground shook. "Oh no!" Silver yelled, "Guys! We got company!" Palkia was getting back up. "GWWWAARRR!" Palkia screeched. Just as it was about to attack, it stopped. More rocks fell from the ceiling. A dark void opened up under Spacial Rift and a shadowy Pokémon came out of it. Two large, black wings folded out of its body. The shadow Pokémon pulled back its wings and red spikes moved to the edge, like claws. It clamped down its wings, pulling Dialga and Palkia with it. Then, it sank back down into its void. "Oh no," Gallade said. "What was that, Gallade?" Stormstar asked. "That was a Pokémon called Giratina. It lives in a world opposite of ours called the Distortion World. It was banished there for its violence." "Why does it want Palkia and Dialga?" asked River. "I have no idea," Gallade answered. Suddenly, the dark void opened up again, this time, on the wall. Stormstar waited, but nothing came out. "I think Giratina is asking us to come." "What?" Silver said. "You just saw Giratina take Palkia and Dialga to the Distortion World! It's probably going for us next!" "Stormstar," said River, "I don't think we should go in. You have no idea what goes on in there." "I think they're right, Stormstar." Gallade agreed. "The Distortion World is dangerous." "Fine," Stormstar said. "I'll go by myself! I've been through things just as tough." "Stormstar," said Gallade, "You can't go. You just can't." "I have to." Stormstar answered. "I need to figure this out." She backed up next to the Dimensional Hole. "Gallade," said Stormstar. "If I don't come back, there's something you need to know." "What is it?" Gallade asked. Stormstar backed up farther. "I love you."

Chapter 7-
Stormstar turned around and jumped into the Dimensional Hole. She arrived in the Distortion World quickly. "Wow," she said, "Gallade was right. This place is weird." There were walls that were upside-down and waterfalls that went up instead of down.  Suddenly, something huge flew past. "Giratina!" Stormstar said. She continued farther into the Distortion World and came across a purple cloud. Stormstar walked into it and suddenly couldn't breathe. She came out of the cloud. "I think that's poisonous." Stormstar decided. She went around the purple cloud and continued on. Stormstar came to a place where the land sloped up and around in a loop. She walked around the loop and went upside-down. "Cool," Stormstar said. Giratina suddenly flew past again, causing Stormstar to fall down. She walked farther into the Distortion World. Finally, Stormstar saw them. Palkia and Dialga were trapped in sinister energy fields. They weren't moving. Giratina flew down. It looked different than it did before. "Giratina must have two formes," Stormstar thought. "one in the Distortion World and one in the real world," In the Distortion World, Giratina looked snake-like and its wings were long and like claws, and in the real world, Giratina had six legs and wings with moving red spikes on them. "Giratina!" Stormstar said. "Why did you capture Palkia and Dialga?" "THEY ARE DESTROYING THE DISTORTION WORLD!" "That must have been why that purple cloud was there!" Stormstar thought. "They must appear when something goes wrong in the real world!" "WHEN THOSE TWO BATTLE, THE DISTORTION WORLD SLOWLY GROWS WEAKER!" Giratina roared. "THEY MUST BE STOPPED!" Giratina flicked its claws and the fields holding Dialga and Palkia grew darker. Electric energy shot through them. Palkia and Dialga roared in pain. "Giratina," said Stormstar, "Don't you see you're hurting them?" "THAT IS WHAT I'M TRYING TO DO!" Giratina flicked its claws again and shocked Dialga and Palkia. "You have to stop this, Giratina!" Stormstar yelled. "I WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOU!" Giratina shouted as it electrified Palkia and Dialga again. It did this over and over until finally, Dialga and Palkia fell over in pain. "YES," Giratina said, "IT IS DONE. THE DISTORTION WORLD WILL NO LONGER BE DESTROYED!" "No!" Stormstar yelled. "Thunderbolt!" she sent a huge lightning bolt at Giratina. This caused the fields holding Palkia and Dialga to become weaker. They broke out. "GWWWAARRR!" Dialga roared. It flew down beside Stormstar. Palkia did the same. "WE WILL HELP YOU DEFEAT THE MENACE GIRATINA!" Dialga said to her. "ROAR OF TIME!" Dialga charged up an energy blast and fired it at Giratina. "SPACIAL REND!" Palkia sent a blast of spatial power toward Giratina. "GRRRRAWOOAR!" Giratina growled. "SHADOW FORCE!" It suddenly disappeared "Where'd it go?" Stormstar asked. "THIS IS GIRATINA'S STRONGEST MOVE." Dialga explained. "IT IS CALLED SHADOW FORCE." Giratina reappeared and hit Stormstar, Palkia, and Dialga all at once. They got blown back. Giratina disappeared again. "No! It's attacking again!" Stormstar said. "How do we stop it?"

Chapter 8-
Back in the real world, Gallade, River, and Silver were trying to figure out what to do. "We have to go in after her." Gallade decided. "But we can't," Silver said. "The Dimensional Hole disappeared." "We could wait for another one to appear." River suggested. "No," said Gallade. "We have to go right now." "How can we open another Dimensional Hole?" Silver asked. "Maybe it's still there, but we just can't see it." Gallade said. "What?" Silver cried, "That's impossible!" "No it's not," said Gallade. "Remember when we were looking for Time Gears?" "Yes," Silver answered. "Well, Stormstar and I found a place called Limestone Cavern. There was a wall there that we could go through. That's how we found the Time Gear." Gallade went up to the wall and put his hand on it. His hand went through the wall. "Yes!" Gallade said. He walked through the wall followed by Silver and River. "Whoa," Silver said when they got inside. "This place is wacked!"  Suddenly, there was a loud crash in the distance. "Come on!" Gallade said. "Something's happening!" The three Pokémon continued through the Distortion World. Finally, they came to the place where Stormstar, Dialga, and Palkia were. They had been blown across the ground. "Stormstar!" Gallade said. Stormstar got up. "Gallade?" Stormstar said. "How did you get here?" "We came through a Dimensional Hole." Gallade answered. "What happened here?" "Giratina is trying to get rid of Dialga and Palkia!" said Stormstar. "It thinks that they are destroying the Distortion World!" "Are they?" Silver asked. Stormstar was just about to answer when Giratina flew down. "ALL OF YOU MUST BE DESTROYED!" it howled. "THE DISTORTION WORLD CANNOT TAKE MUCH MORE OF THIS!" Giratina formed four energy fields around the six Pokémon. They were raised up into the air. Dialga and Palkia were each in one; River and Silver were in one, and Stormstar and Gallade were in one. Giratina clicked its claws and electric energy was sent through the fields. All six Pokémon were hurt badly. Stormstar and Gallade were the last ones standing. Giratina shocked them again. "Stormstar!" Gallade shouted as electric energy was sent through the field, "You are the strongest out of all of us! You have to stop Giratina!" "What?" Stormstar cried, "Gallade! I need you!" "No," Gallade said, "I don't have much energy left. Pretty soon, I'll be down too. If you don't stop Giratina, the whole world might be in danger!" "I can't!" Stormstar shouted. "Giratina is too strong!" "You have to do this," Gallade said, "Even if we never see each other again, I will always love you, Stormstar. No matter what," Giratina electrified them one more time and Gallade fell to the ground. "Gallade!" Stormstar said. "No! You can't leave me!" She turned to face Giratina. "Please stop! You have no idea what you're doing! If you defeat Dialga and Palkia, space and time will end forever! Everything will be gone!" "YOU!" Giratina shouted, "I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEFEATED! BUT NOW, IF YOU ARE QUITE FINISHED, I WOULD LIKE TO GET ON WITH DESTROYING YOU!" Giratina sent more electricity through the force fields. Stormstar endured the hit. "I have to try to break the field." she thought. "Thunderbolt!" Stormstar shot a blast of electricity at the field holding her. It didn't do anything. "DO NOT TRY TO ESCAPE!" Giratina growled, "MY FORCE FIELDS ARE IMPENETRABLE!" "It's no use," Stormstar thought. "We'll never get out of here." Then, she looked down at Gallade, who was still collapsed on the ground. "Gallade trusted me, and I failed him." thought Stormstar.

Chapter 9-
Stormstar put her paws on Gallade. "Please come back," she whispered. "Please save me. Gallade, I love you. More than you ever knew. And now you will never know how much I love you. I don't have any strength left. This is the end." Giratina sent more electric energy through the fields. Stormstar endured them again. Giratina did this over and over until it finally stopped. Something sounded in the distance. It crackled like thunder. A light appeared on the horizon. Suddenly, Stormstar started glowing. A huge blast of electric energy came out of nowhere and hit Giratina. Stormstar got up to see what was happening. "Am I doing this?" she thought. She brought her paws down toward the ground and an electric volt hit Giratina in the same way. "I am controlling it!" thought Stormstar. She brought down an electricity blast on the energy fields. They broke into pieces.  "GWWWAAARR!" Giratina howled, "THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE! MY FORCE FIELDS CANNOT BE BROKEN!" "They just were." Stormstar said. She sent another electric bolt on Giratina. "GRROOOOAAAARRR!" it screeched. "SHADOW FORCE!" Giratina disappeared into thin air. It suddenly reappeared and hit Stormstar, but the attack did not to anything. Stormstar brought down multiple lightning bolts on Giratina. Finally, it fell to the ground. "I ADMIT DEFEAT." Giratina growled. "Giratina," Stormstar said, "Palkia and Dialga will fight no more. The Distortion World will no longer be destroyed." "FINE," Giratina said, "I WILL BELIEVE YOU. BUT IF WHAT YOU SPEAK IS NOT THE TRUTH, YOU WILL SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES!" Giratina opened up a Dimensional hole underneath all the Pokémon. They dropped through to the real world. Dialga and Palkia both got up. "WE WILL FIGHT NO MORE." Palkia said. "IT HAS BEEN PROVEN THAT OUR BATTLES DESTROY THE DISTORTION WORLD." "FAREWELL, STORMSTAR." Dialga said. Palkia and Dialga flew off to their own dimensions. River, Silver, and Gallade also got back up. "What did you do, Stormstar?" Silver asked. "I defeated Giratina!" Stormstar answered. "How did you do it?" asked River. "Well," Stormstar said, "I guess I don't know my own power." "I knew you could do it, Stormstar." Gallade said. "Yeah," Silver said, "That's all fine and dandy, but we have another problem. How do we get home?" "Silver's right," River said, "Palkia teleported us here in the first place." Stormstar was just about to say something, when a Dimensional Hole opened up. Palkia came out of it. "I HAVE HEARD YOUR PREDICAMENT." it said. "I WILL TELEPORT YOU BACK HOME." Palkia opened up another Dimensional Hole and Stormstar and her friends stepped through it. They arrived back at their homes. "Thanks, Palkia." Stormstar said. Palkia disappeared.

Chapter 10-
Night fell quickly. River went into her cave, Silver went down his tunnel, and Gallade and Stormstar both climbed up into their trees. Stormstar smiled when she looked up at the night sky. "A lot happened today." she thought. Suddenly, Stormstar heard scratching at the bottom of her tree. Then, it stopped. "It must have been the wind." Stormstar decided. She was too tired to look anyway. Stormstar looked once more at the starry sky and fell asleep. The next morning, someone was shaking Stormstar's shoulder. "Oh no," she thought, "Not again." "Stormstar, wake up!" The voice said, "I have something to show you!" "River," Stormstar mumbled, "Stop it. The sun isn't even up yet!" "Come on Stormstar!" The voice said again, "and I'm not River!" It was right. The voice didn't sound a thing like River. Stormstar opened her eyes to see Gallade's face. "Hi Gallade," Stormstar said. Gallade grabbed Stormstar's hand and said, "Come on! I said that I have something to show you" Stormstar jumped down from her tree and Gallade took her around to the other side. "So what was it you wanted to-…" she suddenly stopped. Stormstar looked at the other side of the tree.  Gallade had carved something into the tree.

Stormstar looked at Gallade. She opened her mouth, but couldn't say anything. She was at a loss for words. Stormstar went up to Gallade and hugged him. He was surprised at first, but then put his arms around Stormstar. "Thank you so much." Stormstar said. Suddenly, sunlight started coming over the hills. "Gallade," said Stormstar said. "Do you remember when we last saw the sun rise like this?" Gallade nodded. "It was when we defeated Darkrai." "I will never forget that day." said Stormstar. All of a sudden, Gallade looked at Stormstar. "What?" she asked. "Yesterday, when you were about to go into the Dimensional Hole, did you really mean… what you said?" Stormstar thought back. "Yes," she said finally. "I really do love you." Gallade smiled. Stormstar pointed to the rising sun. "Look!" she exclaimed. "It's so beautiful!" "Just like you." Gallade said. Stormstar smiled.
